Thomas Salamonski
Thomas Salamonski ist ein zeitgenössischer Künstler, der seine neuesten Werke der Ausstellungsreihe "Squared Faces" im Oktober 2019 beim WWFA in Dubai, im November in der Art Hub Gallery in Abu Dhabi und im Dezember im Emirates Palace präsentierte. Am 25. Februar 2020 wurde die Soloausstellung "Colors of Life" bei COYA Abu Dhabi im Four Seasons at The Galleria Al Maryah Island eröffnet.
Jedes seiner Werke zeigt ein Portrait, das im Farbstil an die Graffiti und Popkultur der 80er Jahre erinnert, aber gleichzeitig an sakrale Glasmalerei denken lässt. Diese Gegensätze ziehen sich durch jedes Werk — Ecken und Kanten setzen sich in runde Linien fort, Licht und Schatten lassen ein Gesicht in all seinen Dimensionen erkennen.
